Something to Pass the Time

Currently, my commute to work is about 80 miles each way. It takes me about an hour and a half and it can get pretty mundane. I used to just turn up my radio louder and louder, but with a baby in the backseat, that isn't such a great option anymore. So, I decided that I would try some books on CD and I downloaded sTori Telling by Tori Spelling. It was so good and made my drive seem much faster. I have always loved to read but it's much harder now with a baby and everything, so this is a good alternative.

I saw the previews for the Confessions of a Shopaholic movie and I told my mom that I wanted to go see it. I was quickly told by both her and our friend Kelli that I should read the books. I borrowed the book but just didn't get time so I decided to download it from Audible.com. I loved it and I'm working my way through the series. I am on the 4th book: "Shopaholic & Sister." I literally laugh out loud most of the way to and from work. What a great way to start my day!

I went and saw the movie a couple weeks ago when my mom was in town. As always, the book is better than the movie, but it's still a fun movie. There was one scene where I laughed so hard I could hardly see. I love laughing like that!

So, I'd highly recommend these books if your looking for something light a carefree to read and you enjoy a good laugh!
