You Capture: Quiet

The challenge for You Capture this week was: Quiet. As you can imagine, there isn't too much "quiet" in my life with Natalee around. I thought maybe I'd get a picture of her sleeping, but that wasn't working out for me.
Sean and I went to the Willamette Valley Retriever Club Field Trial last weekend. I love going to watch these, and I think Sean has been "bitten" by the dog training bug again, which is just fine with me! Since I don't know many people, I just brought my camera and quietly enjoyed myself.

The is the road out to where the Amateur Stake was held, I thought it looked like a quiet, country road
This is "Cheddar" I thought the handler looked very quiet and solemn after running the second series, where the dog didn't work quite as well as he'd hoped.

I'm not sure which dog this is, but I love the Amateur stake because the handlers do this for fun and they really love their dogs.

This is Gary Zellner & FC AFC Land Ahoy "Pirate." Pirate was the all-age high point dog in 2008. (FC AFC= Field Champion & Amateur Field Champion). He may have lots of fancy titles, but he just loves his owner like crazy.

This is also Pirate, testing out the water. I loved the reflection I got here.

I had a lot of fun with this, mostly because I got to take pictures of one of my very favorite things in the whole world: Dogs & fellow dog lovers!
This blog carnival is brought to you by Beth over at I Should Be Folding Laundry. Head on over and check out some more "Quiet" shots!

I think you have to be calm and quiet so that the animals are as well - you are totally right! Love the photos - but love the dogs. We have a yellow lab.
