**Updated: Check here for our lucky winner!**
I've been writing this post in my head for so long and I still don't know where to begin, I'll start with the hard part and then get to the fun part!
For the last six+ years, I've been struggling with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). I am fortunate enough to have a great doctor and good insurance to help cover the exorbitant cost of my medications. These medications allow me to live a relatively normal life, but there are still days that I can't tie my shoes, hold a pen or dress my daughter. Sometimes I want to lie down and not do anything because I just hurt, my hands don't work right and I stumble over all kinds of things. Needles, injections and pain killers are a normal part of my life, but I am oh so thankful for them.
I am terrified every single day that my daughter will have to go through these things, that I will have passed on to her whatever went haywire in me. So, I'm going to do something about it. This year I'm walking in the Arthritis Walk to raise money for a cure, not just a treatment.
Now the fun part: It's my first giveaway!! I'm having a giveaway to help raise awareness and money! I'll be giving away a $50 Gussy gift card. Oh, her stuff is so adorable, I could just order it all!
For an extra entry, tweet about this giveaway, be sure to include me @scatteredmama (then leave a comment letting me know that you tweeted!) You can tweet (and enter) every day if you'd like:-)
For even more chance to win: You'll get one entry for every dollar that you donate to our Arthritis Walk team. Click on the Paypal Donate button (Upper right sidebar) or you can donate from the Arthritis Walk link (though that has a $10 minimum) to donate and then leave me a comment letting me know how much you donated (no need to leave a comment for each dollar… I'll make a spreadsheet. I love spreadsheets!) You can also use this link if you're in the Salem, Oregon area and want to join our team!
*Because I believe so much in the cause, I have purchased this gift card with my own money and didn't get anything in return*
