This n That

This weekend I ended up alone. Natalee spent the night with Grandma & Grandpa and Sean decided to go fishing, so I was all alone for all of Saturday. Usually, this is a dream come true, but by about 3, I really missed them. And also, I felt a little guilty that I just laid around all day and did nothing. I wanted to go to the fabric store and look into making a bag for my new ipad (once it gets here... 3 weeks until it's here, what the hell?). But, I didn't. I was the epitome of lazy. I did, however, go buy us a new dishwasher. It is so nice to be back in business and not washing dishes by hand. Not having a dishwasher became an excuse for not doing anything. Our house just blew up and whenever we attempted to clean it up, we just said "oh well, the dishwasher is broken."
Natalee is really starting to talk, she says:
Mommy, Daddy, Dog, Easy (she says this to the dog, so cute!), ice (kid is obsessed with ice...), please, beans, cheese, shoes, Papa, milk, cute, all done, uh-oh.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some. My mother in law got the cutest video of her lip syncing with her toy guitar, I'll try to get it and post it soon!

I think it's funny that we moms feel guilty when we take a little time for ourselves...we shouldn't at all bc we certainly deserve it. I'm so jealous that you're getting an ipad!!! Why in the world is it taking 3 weeks?

Alone is a funny thing. We want it, need it, long for it, but when we get it we kind of feel... alone. But it's good to get a few hours here and there to relax and not worry about what anyone else wants or needs.
