Alright, here we go:
1. What is one food you could eat everyday?
This one is easy: Pancakes. Yum... they are my favorite thing. Sean loves to make them, but he only likes to make the regular kind so when he is gone I always make crepes and/or Swedish hotcakes. Oh my gosh, so good!
2. Are you working in the career you thought you would be when you were 18?
No... I thought I'd be a nurse or a doctor or something in the medical field. Sometimes I still wish I had done that, but I'm also pretty stoked to be an engineer. It's one of those jobs that I never thought I'd be smart enough to do. I love what I do, I love going to work everyday... I'm pretty happy with the way that things worked themselves out.
3. What is something that you wish you would have done when you were younger and you didn't?
Played softball. I always wanted to play but didn't get to. I think I'd have had so much fun, and then I would have been confident enough to play in some adult softball leagues now. I hope Natalee wants to play... or at least I hope that she can play everything that she'd like to try.
4. What color are your kitchen walls?
Blech... they are the plain cream color as the rest of the house (except for the laundry room & Natalee's room). I wanted to paint it a golden yellow color, but Sean says it would be a pretty difficult project because of the way that the kitchen and living room all run together and the super high ceilings. I wanted to do the living room a slightly darker shade of the same color. I got shut down hard and fast on that idea. Hubs said: "Do you know how much paint we would need?" What he really meant was: "Do you know how much work I would have to do?"
5. Do you remember what your very first favorite song was?
Ah, yes... Sarah by Starship. That came out in 1985, for those of you that are counting... I would have been all of 4 years old. I loved that song, in fact I still do. I'm pretty sure I was born about 10 years too late.
Alright, It's been fun and it's so good to be back. Head on over to Mama M's to check out more 5QF fun!
