We have nothing planned for this weekend, which may sound boring, but it doesn't happen too often and I'm looking forward to it. We may go visit Sean's cousins (where he is working on the boat, gag...), they have a beautiful home and lots of horses to ride. I think that sounds like fun. What are you're weekend plans? Please don't tell me something fabulous 'cause then I'll be all jealous.
Alright, let's get started here:
1. What were your school colors?
I think I went to the two BEST schools as far as school colors go. My high school colors were red & green... it was like Christmas all year long. In fact, when I see red & green I automatically think of Eureka High before I think of Christmas. However... I bleed Black & Orange, go Beavers! I love Oregon State, we are super hard core fans. I'd paint my whole house black and orange if Sean would let me (Sean isn't quite the super fan that I am, he's still learning).
2. What's the best compliment you ever received?
Hmmm... I'm not sure. I don't take compliments very well so it's hard to say. One of the ones that stands out (as unique, not necessarily the best) in my mind was my mom after reading the blog (finally), she sent me an email that said: I've been reading your blog, I had no idea that you were funny! Um, thanks?
3. Do you buy cheap or expensive toilet paper?
Um, I buy the Costco brand stuff in the huge package... I'm pretty sure it's cheap stuff, but not too cheap. It isn't like scratchy or anything like that, and it's definitely 2-ply. Sean hates that super soft stuff that is kinda "linty" (Is that even a word?).
4. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? Or have you had one for someone else?
Um, no surprise party for me. I'm not sure that I'm a surprise party kind of girl. I really don't care for being the center of attention. But, I did throw my sister a surprise baby shower. I had it at the grocery store and she was totally surprised. I had a lot of fun planning it, and getting her there without any suspicion. It took a lot of people working together. But really, who suspects a party in a grocery store? (By the way, it was awesome... they had a great community room in the back. It wasn't like we were in the middle of the produce section or anything.)
5. What is one material possession that you "can't live without"?
My iPad... I love that thing! It's my computer, my book, my calculator... everything. I freakin' love it. Well, I'm sure I could live without it, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun. But in general, I'd have to say blankets. I love blankets and we have a lot of them. I have 3 great quilts that my mom made that I use every single day (she's working on my 4th now!). Natalee also has a handmade quilt from my mom that she doesn't let out of her sight. Hey Mom~ Bring your needle & thread next week, we need some repair work done!
I think that you should participate in 5QF, head on over to Mama M's and check it out... or just leave me some of your answers in a comment. Comments make me super happy, don't you want to make me super happy?
