Random Tuesday: The last one in August

I think a little bit of random is needed today. It's a great way to start the day.
Today is the last day of August, I really thought that this day would never ever get here. I'm so ready for it to be fall!
We ran out of orange juice yesterday, I thought it was possible that the world may end. I hurried off to the little corner market to get some so that I could make it through the day.
I haven't had too many cravings yet, except for the OJ (which I had last time)… I've also been pretty fond of meatball sandwiches from Subway lately too, yum! But I am still completely repulsed by coffee (which I also had last time).
I can't seem to shake the feeling that something is wrong with the pregnancy. I had this feeling last time too, but I didn't expect it this time. I called my doctor today and asked about getting a nuchal translucency scan. The nurse said "A what?" but after talking to the doctor told me that I could have one. I'm waiting to hear when my appointment will be. I know it's totally unnecessary but I hate not knowing that everything is alright.
We took Natalee to the state fair over the weekend. She loved the livestock and the food. She wasn't that into the rest of it. She threw a few fits and refused to get into her stroller now and then. In other words, nothing out of the ordinary. Oh, and on Friday we took her to the Art & Air festival here in town, we went to the "Night Glow" where they fill up a bunch of hot air balloons after dark. It was fun to see and she had a great time. They had deep fried apple pie fries there, one word to describe them: Heaven. I think they are my new favorite fair food, hope I can find them again.
I think I finally decided on bedding for Natalee's new room. After all of the running around, we're going to go with a set from Target. It'll be cute and I can't wait to get her bed and put it together, what color should we paint the walls? I'm not a very good decorator and I need lots of helpJ Oh, and where do I find those rail things that keep the kids from falling out of bed? I'm going to need one of those, too.

i LOVE the bedding!! I have a friend who's daughters bedding was CLOSE to those colors. We painted 2 walls the spring green and the other 2 walls the light yellow! It looked GREAT!!!

I second the vote for light yellow.

And we never used the rail thing - I just put a long body pillow along the outside edge of the bed (the other side was against the wall) and it's kept Munchie safely in bed.

I would like to deep fry beer.

I'm on team spring green. The yellow is nice, but babies cry more in yellow rooms, and yellow kitchens cause families to fight more while they cook. Toddlers don't need any more reason to throw tantrums, so no yellow!

what about a light lavender or periwinkle??? bed rails are easy to find, target, walmart, babiesrus, amazon, etc...

I'm waaaaayyy late on this comment but Eden has this bedding and her wall color is "Blustery Day" (Disney color from Home Depot). LOVE IT. I also bough the bed skirt and took one side of it apart and made a valance. I think I have pics on my blog.
