Random Tuesday!

It's time for Random Tuesday Thoughts with the UnMom again... I didn't prepare at all. I usually like to keep a mental note of random things to mention. So we're flying without a net here today.
My friend Carly (AKA Supermom), suggested a book called Toilet Training in Less Than A Day by Nathan Azrin. I found it on Amazon for $0.01 so I splurged and bought it. Sean took it out of my hands and read it 3 times. Yesterday he deemed as the day he would train. I came home from work and Natalee can now (unprompted), walk to her potty chair, pull down her pants, do her business, pull her pants back up, take the pot to the toilet, dump it, flush it and return it to the potty chair. Amazing, especially for one day of practice. We put her to bed without a diaper last night with plans of just changing the sheets in the morning. Somehow her door got closed last night and we woke up to her screaming at 12:30. When Sean went to check on her, she ran out to use the bathroom and then went back to bed. Seriously, I am stunned. (Yes, there were a few accidents but it's still amazing in my opinion).
My cousin got married on Saturday, it was a beautiful wedding and she was a stunning bride. I forgot my camera. I can't believe I did that. But my great friend Brandy was the photographer. After they finished "work" I stole one (or maybe two) of her cameras and started taking pictures... If I didn't like her so much I would have just stolen it. I gave Sean my best "please-buy-it-for-me-eyes" so he asked how much it would be for something like that. After she threw back a number more than some people make in a year he told me to put it down and back away slowly. At least he considered it- for a millisecond.
This weeks comic sighting around town: A panhandler on the street corner with a sign that said "Your ad here." Hey, you gotta give him a little entrepreneurial credit.
Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary... I want to do something fun, but small and inexpensive. I was thinking cupcakes, but that would just be a gift for myself.

Happy Anniversary! Go ahead and make yourself some cupcakes, it's a day for both of you so why not?

I'm totally impressed with the potty training thing. That was not something that I was very good at, but I guess the end result is the same... they're all potty trained now! :)

Wow Natalee!! Or Wow Sean? That's amazing. Maybe he could go into potty training professionally... then you could afford the nice camera.

Happy Anniversary tomorrow! (How many years?)
