Cold Turkey

It's a cold Tuesday here... but not that cold. It always makes me laugh when it gets cold here (ie below freezing). It is white outside, but barely...it rained really hard yesterday and then it froze last night, but it is a lot less icy than I thought it would be. Anyway, the schools are closed, people will start calling in to work any minute now and all the tire stores will be totally slammed with people buying studs or chains, which are totally unnecessary for the 2-3 days a year that it is icy out. I think it's ridiculous... Hopefully everyone can still get to our house for Thanksgiving though, I've got 50 pounds of Turkey and 30 pounds of ham that won't eat themselves.

Thanks for the sleeping tips, we had a much better night last night... except that when she gets up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night she comes into our room instead of her own. This morning it was 4:45, since it's only 45 minutes before the alarm we let her stay.

My co-workers are supposed to be back today, thankfully. I guess, as long as they aren't "snowed in" with that whole 1/4" we got last night. I've been working solo, covering all of our work since Friday. I'm spent. I'm supposed to be off at noon tomorrow, I'm going to look into taking the whole day instead.

I think I forgot to mention that I'm getting my braces off in February! Yeah! Even though this is my third time wearing them, it is still just as exciting to get them off. I can't wait to eat normally again, and to never have braces again.

I'm trying out the new text alignment for fun this week... I like it, its a good break between the random thoughts.

Sean and I went and looked at new sewing machines the other day, I want. Then we came home and started figuring out what we could sell so that I could have one. We found some great tools that he doesn't use. That is so terrible... but I want it.

That's all folks, check out the UnMom for more!

I like the center justification for Random Tuesday. It totally works.

Why do people forget how to drive in rain / snow all the time? It's not like this is a new development! And I swear, the answer is just leave a little early, drive a little slower, and it'll all be fine. SHEESH. But noooo, people get dumb and either drive like speedmaniacs and spin out OR drive like glaciers. I HATE PEOPLE.

Yay for no more braces!

JEALOUS! I want my braces off so bad. But I'm afraid I got at least another 8 months and this is my only time ever wearing them. I do not suggest waiting until 30 to get braces! Enjoy your new eating freedoms. :)

I completely agree about people over reacting (from when we lived in TN). Great news about the braces too! I only had them once, wore them for 3 1/2 years (freshman - senior year in high school) and I was thrilled when I got them off too! Enjoy the slimy feeling of your teeth! LOL :o)
