5 Question Friday

Oh my gosh, I am so ready for this 3-day weekend! The best part is that I didn't even know it was a 3 day weekend until I tried to schedule a meeting on Monday the other day and someone called me to tell me it was a holiday. Sweet!
Speaking of work... I sent out a mailing to some neighborhoods in town. It explained a program that we are running and asked for people to call me to set up an appointment. One lady called and said to me (and I quote): "Yeah, um, I just got one of them there letters you sent me." I didn't know anyone actually said "them there" in that context, in real life. (Was that mean? Sorry...)
I went to the OB the other day... she said I have "a lot" of amniotic fluid, but not outside of the normal range. I don't mind, since I feel great... but I'm officially bigger now than I was when I delivered Natalee. However, to be fair, even at 40 weeks with her I still only measured at 31 weeks. I am totally average this time, and was just small last time. Also, my belly is completely out front... if you see me from behind I look exactly the same, you would never know there was a belly out front. It's totally a boy. I'll take a new picture this weekend, deal?
OK, time to get to the fun stuff. Will you join me this week?

1. What movie could you watch over and over again and not get tired of?

Not many. It drives me crazy when Sean watches the same thing over.and over. and over. But, I don't think Pretty Woman ever gets old, or Love & Basketball... one of my all time favorites (In college, I rented it so many times that the video store finally just gave me a copy).
2. What's your biggest pet peeve right now?
Uh, used cars. Sean and I have been looking for one... for A YEAR! I find something and want to go look, he is hesitant, then it's gone and he's like "We should have gotten that car, it was a good deal!" Yep, that's why it's already sold. Oh, or you find one you really like but they want as much as a brand new car... I will never understand that.
3. If you had to describe your best friend in five words or less, what would you say?
I went back and forth on this one... I thought about going with Shelly, she's sweet, loving, energetic, black and furry. But I thought someone might be offended if I choose my dog. So, I'm going with this: Kind, Generous, Hilarious, Stubborn, and all MINE!  That would be my husband, he really is my very best friend.
4. If you did not have to worry about money or go to school what would you do for a living?
I'm stealing this idea from Amie, we talked about this a while ago and she had a brilliant answer: A critic. Can you imagine if it was your job to travel around and stay at fancy hotels, eat amazing dinners and experience all sorts of culture and attractions? And it was your job? And people paid you real money for it? How could you go wrong?
5. What is your one "splurge" item, that you will always buy, no matter the cost?
Pepsi. I will never ever buy generic cola, or even Coca Cola... regardless of sales, etc. I may cut back and drink less of it but I won't go cheap. Sean brought home a case of Safeway Cola once and got mad when I wouldn't drink it, I asked him if he'd like me to purchase the cheapest beer available for him. He quickly saw my point and has never brought it up again.

Alright, head on over to Mama M's if you need more 5QF fun.

I love surprise 3-day weekends. I don't get Monday off, but both bosses will be out of town and a friend from afar will be in town, so perhaps I won't work as hard as I otherwise might. Court's closed anyway, and mail. Meh.

Ohhh, I want to be a critic. A paid one, not just the amateur critic I already am.

Being a real critic would be fun!

I'm totally with you on the Pepsi. They shouldn't even be able to sell Coca Cola.....icky!!!!
