The First 5QF of 2011

It's Friday... do you have any big weekend plans? We're hanging at home and taking it easy. Nothing terribly exciting... we're going to check out a "commuter car" for Sean and he is going to go do some duck hunting with his brother. I think I'll plant my rear end in front of my sewing machine... to me that sounds like a PERFECT weekend. Let's get on with this week's 5 Question Friday, shall we?

1. What is your current favorite book, and why?
Right now I'm having a hard time finding the time to read... but I am enjoying books by Emily Giffin and I'm reading Mini Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. My favorite read-over-and-over type book is The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay. I read it in a literature class in High School and just loved it.
2. Do you go to the dentist regularly?
I hate going to the dentist. I used to avoid it all together, but I found a good one recently and since I'm putting so much pain, effort and money into getting my teeth all finished (braces off next month, remember!) I'm getting much better about going to see the dentist.
3. What is your worst memory from High School?
I have no idea. I feel like High School is a million miles away and can't really recall any specific "bad" memory. I'll have to think on this one for a while.
4. What do you hope to be remembered for in your life?
Being kind and generous and selfless... oh and for someone to say "man, she sure was crafty!"
5. Are you superstitious or do you have any superstitions?
No, things are what you make them... I don't really believe that the direction to walk to work or the animals that you cross make any difference. Now, do I believe in karma? Absolutly, and she's a bitch:-)

Head on over to Mama M's to check out more 5QF fun.

I think you've proven that you are crafty! I love your color choices and your projects. I may have to check out your patterns so I can get on the list again! Have fun sewing this weekend.
