New Month, new crafts and bad gas...

Yay for February! I just love starting a new month... something new, and not just the bills.
So I'm 35 weeks today... holy crap, when did that happen? The girls at work think I've "dropped" and I sort of think so too, since I can breath again. I have another ultrasound on Thursday so maybe we'll see then.
I can't wait to see 'Hall Pass' but Sean hates to go to the movies... I may have to either bribe him or get my sister to go with me.

I've been very crafty lately, but not very good about taking pictures... these are pictures from my phone, so they aren't the greatest.
This is the first of seven "braids" that will make up the main part of the quilt that I am making. I am really excited about it!

This one I should have ironed before taking a picture because it looks crooked, but it's actually not. It's an embroidered pillowcase (with piping!). It's the first actual item I've embroidered on my machine. I've just been doing scraps of stuff for fun.
This is the diaper bag I made. I made it with laminated fabric. It looks cool but it was a total pain in the ass to work with. I also added "stroller straps." I stole the idea from this tutorial. I just added those straps to the bag that I was already making and changed the strap to work with them.
This is the inside of the bag. The exterior fabric on the left side of the bag is the "stroller strap" before Sean I added the snaps.
Our crafty group is happening... the first "get together" is next Friday, do you want to come? Let me know!

Blogger just ate half of my post. Awesome. I love when that happens...

Yesterday when I got home from work our house was filled with Natural Gas... not just like a little bit of "do you smell gas?" but totally filled. Sean Someone left the stove on all.day.long. This meant a few things for me: After lots of screaming talking calmly, Sean finally fixed our windows that haven't really worked in the 2.5 years we've lived there (they were, apparently, installed wrong). It also meant that I couldn't cook dinner, so we had Burger King... they forgot to give us our fries. Totally lame.

I entered a blog giveaway that I totally want to win. I never win, but I also only enter ones that I really want to win (which isn't too many). Then, I'm always bummed when I don't win. I'm pretty sure they are all fixed anyway. That's why it's always their "friends" that win.

OK... click below if you need more random today.

Gotta love the title!

Look at you go with all that crafty stuff. Impressive. I was crafty once... wonder what happened to that?

I was totally laughing about the giveaway thing. I entered one recently too, but I don't really expect to win or anything. And there is no way I'm going to spend my time facebooking or tweeting about a giveaway just so I have an extra chance. :)

Funny; my husband wants to see Hall Pass but I feel like it's more of a rental. I try not to argue about seeing movies but I'd rather see No Strings Attached. LOL.

I'll go to Hall Pass with you!! We were at our neighbor's on the weekend and they played the trailer for us - looks hilarious. You'll have to pick me up though...

I love all your crafty things... I was thinking about trying to track down a sewing machine to play around with while I'm off work. If there was one easy project to start with, what would it be?
