All over the place

I’ve got some random thoughts rumbling around in my head this morning.

Remember when I was doing my odd person sighting of the week? I kinda let that go, because I wasn’t seeing too many odd people. This week, I’m on overload. The other day I saw a guy riding a bike with a rope tied to the seat that was towing a lawn mower. Then, as I was headed back from Olive’s eye appointment in Portland, I saw two guys on the shoulder of the interstate doing push-ups. Now that is hardcore.

Speaking of push-ups. I work in a total testosterone pool. Recently, the guys decided that they should do push-ups at random times throughout the day. I’m not sure how it happened, but I got sucked into their vortex. I am working my way up and did 110 of them yesterday. I also went to an Aqua Jogging class yesterday with Marni (she just started a blog, you should totally check it out… ) and it was way harder than I expected. I figured that we would wear those little floaty belts and chat in the water for an hour, but it was actually a workout. No need to worry though, we still got to chat. We plan to get together to learn how to coupon, since neither of us can figure it out alone. We are fairly well educated people, how can it be so hard?

The working out must be doing something good… I slept like I’ve never slept before last night. To start, I took Olive to my bedroom to feed her and watch TV. I usually read People.com on my phone while I do that. I dozed off and dropped my phone on her (which startled her back awake). Sean came in a bit later and said “Uh, I better take her from you.” I must have been really out of it. I remember grabbing a pillow that I like to put under my knee when I sleep. When I woke up to my alarm this morning it was still in my hand, it never made it under my covers. Then, I told Sean “Well, at least Olive slept all night” and he informed me that she got up once and Natalee got up twice. I felt bad for about 10 seconds, then decided it was his turn anyway. I wish I could have stayed in bed all day.

I want to order some Trouser Jeans from GAP because they are having a 3-hour-only 30% off sale, but I’m freaked out about what size to get. I always buy my pants in long length, but the reviews are saying how long they are. Does that mean long for a normal person or long for someone like me, with freakishly long legs? Or, should I order 2 pairs and just return the one that doesn’t fit? What a pain in the ass.

I want to get a Moby wrap. Do you have one? Do you like it? Hate it? Love it?

You are a total rockstar!!! Good for you for all the hard work you are doing. :) I am definitely going to check out you friend's blog. I love new bloggies!

I hate buying pants. I'm a shortie...so even the short and regular lengths are usually "too" long for me. haha Enjoy those long legs girl!

I want to go aqua jogging with you!! I read about it on another blog and I've been trying to find it at a local pool here, but can't. It seems like a boring thing to do alone. But chatting with a friend would be good.

Buy 2 pairs of jeans. Quick before the sale ends!!
