Nonsense

Last weekend I made a new purse, it is adorable. It is very “fall festive.” Sean isn’t so sure about it. Yesterday I went with him to a doctor appointment and we had a conversation that went like this:

Sean: “I don’t really know about that purse.”

Me: “What do you mean? I love it!”

Sean: “It’s just too big…”

Me: “It’s perfect, I have kids.”

Sean: “What does that have to do with anything?”

At that moment, the nurse calls his name and we start to walk back to the exam room.

Nurse: “Oh, I love your purse!”

Me: “Thank you, Sean just told me it was ugly”

Sean: “I did not say ugly, I said it was too big!”

Nurse: “Well you have kids, right?”

I laughed, Sean shook his head and announced that all women conspire together. The nurse… she asked for the pattern to my super awesome purse.



I made my co-worker pose with it, mostly because I'm wearing grey and hot pink today so it really didn't match well.

Here is the pattern, in case you’re thinking “that bag is perfect, especially because I have kids!” I used Amy Butler home décor fabric. The bag is awesome, but it is kinda heavy even when it’s empty because it is made of heavy-ish  weight fabric and is also canvas lined.
